Tito has made it to America, and we welcome him to our freshman class this week. Tito is a basketball and soccer player, and will be living with Grant Currey's family, along with Paolo from France.

SMG has 2 boys and 4 girls available for Coosa Christian School. The Italian boy is a bluebelt in karate, plays guitar in church, and likes card games, baseball, tennis, and swimming. The Spanish male senior says he likes BMX, cooking, fishing, skateboarding, surfing, and tennis. The girls available are from Spain, Germany, France, and Italy. The Spanish girl likes dance, cheerleading, and golf. The German girl likes tennis and church activities. More details at 256-694-1980. You earn $1,000 if you refer a family that hosts one of these students.

Supply drop off for elementary will be Thursday, August 11th from 1:00-2:00. Please drop off at the end door of the elementary building. Someone will be there to direct you where to place your supplies. Please have your items in a box or bag labeled with your child’s name and grade.

Valentin is coming to Coosa... all the way from Madrid, Spain. Valentin loves most all sports, especially soccer, where he is a left-winger. Valentin will be in the freshman class with his host brother, Grant Currey. We would like to welcome our new 2nd grade teacher, Sheena Alexander, to our Coosa Christian family. Hello everyone!! My name is Sheena Alexander, and I am excited to join Coosa Christian Elementary as the new second grade teacher. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband of almost 9 years and two handsome little boys ages 6 and 7. I am looking forward to helping your child learn and grow this year...

We would like to welcome our new Elementary PE teacher, Coach Aaron Whittaker, to our Coosa Christian family. Hello! My name is Aaron Whittaker, and I am beyond excited to spend this school year as a Conquerer! I am a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and I attend church regularly! My love for kids and coaching are rivaled by nothing! I’m a lover of all things sports, a wrestling state champion from Alexandria High School, an avid rock climber, and a professional gymnastics coach at Zee’s Gymnastics! I already love Coosa Christian, and I can’t wait to meet everyone!

We would like to welcome our new 6th grade teacher, Jennifer Henry, to our Coosa Christian family. Hey everyone! My name is Jennifer Henry, I am excited and grateful to join the team at Coosa Christian Elementary this year! The goal for my classroom this year is to create positive and hands on learning opportunities for my students. My husband and I have been blessed by God with four children, ages 23,21,17,&12! This is going to be a great school year filled with times for growing and learning together! Go Conquerors!

Coosa Christian Family: Harunosuke of Japan would like to experience America and Coosa Christian School if a host family would welcome him this year. if Harunsuke says he is in to basketball. karate, tennis, skateboarding, swimming, golf, horseback riding, and computer games. He has experience taking care of cats, cooking, and yard work, too. Harunsuke could be our 10th awesome Japanese student if you would welcome him to your family.

Coosa’s Varsity Cheerleaders had a fun and productive week at Cheer Camp in Gulf Shores! We are so proud of our Lady Conquerors!

The elementary cheerleaders had a great cheer camp this week. The girls have worked hard learning their dance and new cheer. Thank you Victory Cheer for working with us!

Coosa Christian Family: We are so pleased to welcome Paolo from France to our senior class this year. Paolo, who loves sports, including tennis, basketball, and soccer, will be living with The Van Currey family this year.

We are having a great time learning new things to bring back to Coosa at Mega Conference in Mobile. Our teachers and administrators are pumped up for our new school year!

Zach and Kailah represented Coosa Christian at the Sheriff's Leadership Camp this week.

Kailah enjoyed the sheriff camp! First ever James Hayes leadership scholarship went to Kailah! 1000 dollars!

First grade enjoyed watching their plants grow over the last few weeks. They were able to pull the radishes on the last day of school.

3rd grade was excited the last day of school together. They were so silly and were such a joy. This group loves to have fun!
